A Safe Place to Talk
A Safe Place to Talk
I have over 20 years’ experience and trained as a Counsellor as well as a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist.
Therapy isn’t just for a crisis. Attending therapy is about entering a safe and confidential space where you can bring and talk about any subject that is playing on your mind. Coming to see a therapist will bring you relief and will also give you the opportunity to think about the changes you may want to make.
Initially, I offer to meet with potential clients for 3 consecutive, weekly consultations. This will give us both an opportunity to see whether we are right for each other. You will have the choice at the end of each consultation to decide whether you wish to attend the next consultation.
I have experience working with anxiety, depression, fears and phobias, low self-confidence, panic attacks, procrastination, relationship difficulties, stress, trauma, unexplained physical symptoms, withdrawal from prescribed medication and more.
I work with clients who appreciate that lasting change is indeed possible and have the courage to forgo the false promise of a ‘quick fix’.
Sometimes we are not aware of how much we are carrying inside of us and how the weight of these unconscious thoughts and feelings can have a detrimental effect on our relationships as well as on our physical and emotional wellbeing.
However, the success of your therapy will depend largely on whom you choose as a therapist. I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) as well as the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
I offer long-term and short-term therapy and meet with clients once or more times a week.
My experience of attending personal therapy, led me to train as a Counsellor, after which I completed a Certificate in Systemic Therapy at the Institute of Family Therapy (IFT).
Wanting to offer my clients the opportunity to get to the root of their difficulties, I trained at the Arbours Association in North London for a further 9 years, qualifying as a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist.
I work with people from all walks of life, but all have something in common – a wish to understand why things are the way they are and a wish to make changes in the way they experience life.
I will help you understand why you act or react to challenges in the way that you do. This will lead you to make better and healthier choices moving forward.

My office is based in a quiet part of North London, Haringey.
It is easily accessible and close to many bus routes as well as train stations, such as Seven Sisters (Victoria Line), Manor House (Piccadilly Line) and Stamford Hill (Lea Valley Lines).
I will provide location details when we arrange to meet for our first consultation.
My fees are £95 per 50-minute session. I have some reduced-fee spaces for those on low-income.
For the first 3 consultations I take payments in cash, and once we have decided to continue working together, payments can be made by monthly bank transfers.
In addition to providing face-to-face therapy, I also offer telephone counselling and online sessions via zoom.
To book a session via zoom, telephone or face-to-face, I can be reached on my work number 07866 578 213 as well as by email.
Please leave a message and I will return your call as soon as I can to arrange an initial short phone conversation.
I would normally aim to see you as soon as possible after your initial contact, although at times I do have a waiting list.
